Schippling Wins First Super Comp Win In 2009

T.J. Schippling with his first win in 2009

INDIANAPOLIS (April 28th) -- After 7 rounds of close competition at prestigious O'Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis, Lucas Oil's Dixie Chopper won the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. when the Division 3 schedule started last weekend. T.J. combined 4 runs in the 8.90 elapsed time period which included an 8.901 in the final round, with a .003 reaction time, putting him in 7th in points.

"We really chased this win for a couple of years there. I've dreamt of winning one of these for a long time."

T.J. began driving in 2002 and won a quarter-final and semi-final at his first two races. His first LODRS race was in 2004, and his focus shifted to Top Dragster in 2005.
